women’s surf & yoga retreats
Cape Town
Welcome to NOW NOW Collective
- a sanctuary by the sea where women from around the world come together to move, laugh, explore, and grow.
Whether you’re a solo traveler, a first-time surfer, or just craving a reset, our retreats offer a safe, supportive space to dive into new experiences, both on the mat and in the ocean.
Because movement feels better together.
Because solo travel shouldn’t feel lonely.
Because we weren’t made to sit still.
Because the ocean doesn’t wait, and neither should you.
Because it doesn’t need to be perfect.
It just needs to be now.
Let’s surf, stretch, move & laugh, together.
Let’s find her. NOW NOW.
Why NOW?
Why Cape Town?
Because it’s raw and beautiful in equal parts.
Because the waves are clean, the sunsets are gold, and the mountains meet the sea.
Because it’s wild, soulful, and a little unpredictable, just like us.
Because you can hike in the morning, surf at lunch, and dance under the stars by night.
Because it’s something different.
Something real.
This is Cape Town.
Let’s move through it together.
Who’s it for?
Women traveling solo or with a friend.
All levels welcome. No pressure, just movement.
When?
19th - 25th January 2026
What’s Included?
6 nights stay, daily surf + yoga, breakfast, lunch & 3 dinners, all transport including airport transfer, all gear and fun activities!
Where?
Just a 45-minute drive from Cape Town’s city centre and the international airport, Kommetjie is a laid-back surf town tucked between the mountains and the sea.
With over six surf breaks nearby, it’s the kind of place where barefoot mornings roll into golden sunsets. Quiet enough to breathe, but close enough to dip into the city’s culture, food scene, and nightlife if you’re feeling social.
This is the best of both worlds:
Nature, movement, and stillness, with a side of Cape Town buzz if you want it.
The Rooms

We’ll Be There Too
Best friends for over a decade, we’re not just your typical frothers. But we do get grumpy if we’re not in the ocean daily. Movement is what keeps us grounded, stoked, and connected , to ourselves, to each other, and to the world around us.
We’ve surfed, stretched, danced, and explored our way through five countries together (and counting), and we started NOW NOW* because we wanted to share that feeling… the one you get when you're moving, laughing, and fully alive.
This retreat is about community, curiosity, and low-pressure good times.
We’ll be there for the deep chats, the belly laughs, and the wipeouts. We can’t wait to be your new besties!

A Day In The Life
Every day is a little different depending on the surf conditions, energy levels, and group vibe — but here’s a taste of what you can expect:
7:00 AM – Breakfast
Start your morning with fresh fruit, smoothies, homemade granola, and toast while chatting with the group about the day ahead.
8:00 AM – Surf Session
Head to the beach for a personalised coaching session. We’ll work on your paddling, pop-up, and riding techniques — tailored to your level — at one of Kommetjie’s beautiful surf spots.
12:00 PM – Back to the House
Rinse off, relax, and maybe flick through your surf photos from the session.
1:00 PM – Lunch
A wholesome, hearty meal to refuel for the afternoon.
2:00 – 5:00 PM – Rest or Optional Adventure
Take a nap, lounge at the beach, or join an optional outing — think horseback riding along Noordhoek Beach, visiting the penguins at Boulders, or exploring the shops in Kalk Bay.
5:00 PM – Yoga & Breathwork
Unwind with a 90-minute yoga session designed to match the energy of the day — from energising vinyasa flows to slow, grounding yin. Every session includes meditation and breathwork to help you reconnect.
7:00 PM – Dinner
End the day with a delicious dinner, either at the house or at a favourite local restaurant, sharing stories and laughs from the day’s adventures.
Before You Ask...
-
Not at all. Most of the women who join us are beginners or just starting out. Everything is optional, and everything is guided. No pressure — just movement, flow, and fun.
-
Yes — and honestly, most of our guests do. We’ve created this retreat with solo travelers in mind. It’s safe, welcoming, and built for instant connection. For all backgrounds, all body types, all stories welcome.

We get this question a lot — and it’s valid. Like any big city, Cape Town has areas to be mindful of, but the retreat takes place in small, laid-back coastal towns just outside the city like Kommetjie and Scarborough. These areas are known for their surf communities, slow pace, and friendly locals.
We take care of your airport transfers and all local transport during the week, so you won’t need to navigate anything solo unless you choose to. The group is always together, and there’s a strong sense of community from day one. The house is equipped with an alarm system and will be locked whilst we are in and out of the house.
We’ve lived here, we host here — and we wouldn’t run retreats in places we didn’t feel good in ourselves.

A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be paid by 18 January 2026. We’ll send you a reminder closer to the date to make the final payment.
-
We’ll send a full list before the retreat — but think: swimsuit, activewear, something warm for the evenings, and clothes you feel good moving in. We provide all surf and yoga gear.
-
We keep it small — max 12 women. Enough to make friends, not too many to feel lost.
